Tell us about local leisure facilities and what you do to be active
Overview
Let us know how you feel about West Northamptonshire leisure facilities and how you get active to help us to plan and develop the delivery of services for the future.
Background
West Northamptonshire Council is currently developing an Active Lives Strategy and also looking at the future management of its leisure centres including how we operate the centres and deliver a high-quality service within the centres and within the community.
To help us with this we are asking people to let us know how physically active they are and how physically active they would like to be at home, in the park, at sports clubs or at leisure centres.
We would also like to know how residents feel about the Council’s leisure centres, the facilities themselves, the activities that go on in the centres and the priorities for the centres going forward.
Your feedback matters
This initial engagement is open to all West Northamptonshire residents.
The information you provide will be used to shape the future plans and delivery of services and so gaining residents views is vital.
The responses will help us to understand peoples’ needs so that we can use this to shape and draft our Active Lives Strategy, and to consider future leisure centre management.
Following this initial engagement, the Active Lives Strategy will be developed over the coming months and leisure centre management will be developed over 2025.
