Overview

West Northamptonshire Council along with the Governing Body of Croughton All Saints CE Primary School are proposing to lower the age range from 4 to 11 years to 3 to 11 years from 1 September 2023.

As part of the statutory decision-making process for school organisational changes of this nature the Council is consulting on its proposal and seeking your views.

Why are we proposing the change?

The number of early education places for 3-year-old children in the locality has reduced following the closure of Croughton Pre-School in December 2022.

By lowering the admission age for Croughton All Saints CE Primary School, the 3-year-old children within the community, particularly those that are the most vulnerable, will be able to access the funded place that they are entitled to.
