Addendum - Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits Special Protection Area - Mitigation Strategy (Draft) - Consultation

Overview

West Northamptonshire Council is consulting on the Draft Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits Special Protection Area (SPA) Mitigation Strategy which will eventually be an addendum to the Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits SPA Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). 

The draft mitigation strategy sets out a range of measures and associated costs to protect the Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits SPA from recreational pressure resulting from proposed housing growth within 3km of the SPA.

The Council is seeking opinions on the proposed mitigation measures, and associated costs, in order to protect the Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits SPA.

Once adopted, the mitigation strategy would be appended to the Upper Nene Valley Gravel Pits SPA SPD.
