Have your say on the Gambling Act 2005 - Statement of Licensing Policy 2022-2025
Overview
We are gathering views about our draft Gambling Act 2005-Statement of Licensing Policy 2022-2025.
Under the Gambling Act 2005, the Council regulates the provision of premises for gambling (including betting shops, bingo halls and amusement arcades), the provision of gaming machines in clubs and alcohol licensed premises and small society lottery registration.
At least every three years, the Council must review and adopt a Statement of Licensing Principles that details how the Council will undertake its licensing functions. The proposed statement of principles will form the basis of the Council’s decision-making for licensing gambling premises.
You can view and read below the draft policy statement or download the PDF to gain a better understanding of the proposed policy.
