Have your say on Further Road Traffic Enforcement Camera Locations in West Northants

Closes 5 Jan 2026

Provide your views on: Mere Way. (Yellow Box Junction)

Yellow box junctions are placed at busy junctions to aid the flow of traffic through the junction and also to keep a road space free for safe entry or exit to premises such as hospitals, fire and ambulance stations.

You may enter a yellow box junction when your exit is clear and there is enough space on the other side of the junction for your vehicle to clear the box completely without stopping. You can stop in a yellow box junction when turning right if you are prevented from turning by oncoming traffic, or by other vehicles waiting to turn right.

Mere Way, opposite the fire station and at the Wootton Hall Park junction, is being proposed at the request of the emergency services to improve entry and exit into and out of the fire and ambulance stations to improve journey times on emergency callouts.
