Proposal for temporary accommodation on land off Edgar Mobbs Way, Northampton
Overview
A full planning application is currently being prepared by Framptons Town Planning Ltd (Framptons), on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council. This is for relocatable temporary accommodation on land off Edgar Mobbs Way, Northampton.
A total of 70 (1 and 2-bed) units are proposed on the site, together with supporting infrastructure including a Community Hub building, on-site laundry, refuse and cycle storage, and equipped children’s play area. The site is also proposed to have an office for use by Council Officers during office hours, and where necessary for out of hours security purposes.

What happens next?
The intention of the Council is to submit a planning application for the site later this year (2025). The comments and views gathered from this consultation will be considered in the preparation of the planning application. Updates will be available via the Framptons consultation page.
