West Northamptonshire Local Plan Call for Sites 2024

Overview

This ‘Call for Sites’ is for you to make suggestions for site locations where development should be considered, within the West Northamptonshire Local Plan area up to 2041. This will inform the further consideration of preferred options as part of the next stage of plan preparation.

The Local Plan includes proposed site allocations for housing and/or economic development. We are also looking to make suitable provision to meet the needs of gypsies, travellers and travelling showpeople. In addition to further suggestions for housing and employment sites we are also seeking proposals for potential traveller sites.

We ask that sites submitted for housing or economic development should be 0.5 hectares or above. Traveller sites may be considered below this threshold.

If you have already submitted site proposals as part of the previous call for sites undertaken during earlier consultations on the West Northamptonshire Strategic Plan, then there is no need to resubmit them unless you wish to provide updated or additional information.

This is a statutory consultation where we are unable to accept anonymous comments. Therefore, in order to submit a response, you must ensure that the Your Details page is complete.

Please note that in accordance with legislation and guidance all comments received will be summarised and made available for the public to view, this will include the name(s). All other personal information will remain confidential.

The information you provide will only be used for this consultation, the associated housing and economic land availability assessments, and, with your consent, to advise you of other consultations.
